Tyler & Mandy Hughes

Tyler serves as the Senior pastor of Church at the Crossroads and is a gifted musician and leader. He previously served as the Worship Director for thirteen years. He has a degree in theology from Moody Bible Institute, and is currently pursuing a Masters in Theological Studies from Liberty University. Tyler works for Greenleaf Timber & Management Inc. Together, Tyler and Mandy have served in many roles within the church. 


Mandy also writes/edits the Crossroads Newsletter. For work, Mandy is a high school English & Yearbook teacher at Ridgecroft School and a photographer.  They have three children, Lucas, Elsie, and Allie. EMAIL MANDY

Cener & Terri Bolton

Cener & Terri Bolton have been serving in the church for years in many different areas. Both of them are incredibly talented, serving on the worship team, Terri as a vocalist, and Cener as a guitar player. Additionally, they are members of the outreach ministry band, Vintage Cross - a band dedicated to sharing the Gospel and their testimonies with any and everyone they have the opportunity to play for, but with a special heart for those that may be overlooked. When not involved in music, they can be found engaging in any number of things at the church, from cleaning the building, to making coffee, to greeting, to helping with events. They're always eager to be involved in the workings of the church. Together, Cener & Terri have three sons: Jack, Blake, & Ben. 

Mike & Brenda Whitaker

Mike and Brenda Whitaker have been serving at Church at the Crossroads since the founding of the church in February 2000. Their love for Jesus and the church body has led them to serve in many areas, including children, facilities ministry, hospitality, finances, men’s ministry, multimedia, outreach, small groups, and youth. Their love for Jesus extends beyond the doors of Crossroads into the community. They have volunteered at the Family Resource Center of Ahoskie to help with fundraisers, and Brenda has been serving on the Ahoskie Food Pantry Board for over 21 years.


Mike and Brenda have two adult sons: Dennis (married to Brittany) and Timothy (married to Makayla) and three grandsons, Brantley, Cayden, and Ethan.
